Social Wall lives on the giant screens scattered through a conference — in registration halls, above expo booths, along the walk to the keynote. When an attendee tweets or posts to Instagram with the event hashtag, their post appears live on those screens within seconds. It's a small dopamine hit that turns passive attendees into participants and gives the event a shared, visible pulse.

The existing product worked but looked its age. Cards were cramped, media was letterboxed, typography fought the venue lighting, and the theming controls didn't give event organizers enough range to match their brand. My redesign rebuilt the display layer around large, legible cards with proper media treatment, and gave configuration a real design system — palettes, font pairings, and a library of animation patterns that control how posts flow across the screen.

The result is a Social Wall that reads from the back of a ballroom, adapts to any brand from a fintech summit to a wedding-industry expo, and turns the venue's biggest screens into an activity people gather around instead of ignore.

Before / After

From dated grid to venue-ready display.

The original wall crammed eight uniform cards into a rigid grid — hashtags fought media for space and nothing scaled beyond a laptop preview. The redesign gives every post real presence, treats media as a first-class citizen, and reads from the back of a ballroom.

Theming

One product, every brand.

Event organizers configure their wall in minutes — colour scheme, typography, and one of a library of animation patterns that determines how posts flow across the screen. The same product powers a fintech keynote at night and a wedding expo the next morning.

In the wild

On the biggest screens in the venue.

Social Wall ran at the center of the show floor, pulling hashtagged posts from attendees and feeding them back to the room as they walked by.

The best add-on isn't a screen you look at. It's a screen that looks back.
